up to speed

What an awesome few weeks it has been...
Let me try and get you caught up -

Another DESIRE has come and gone. Just as well as My face was beginning to hurt from smiling so much. It was My third year and I can hardly wait for next year. It is, hands down, the best event I have ever attended. Despite the triple digit temperatures, I taught for 6 hours in the rays of the giant, bright, burning orb in the sky. Quite fitting when One is teaching about fire. Don't you think?

I can also say that My luggage has just about had it. They have served Me well for the last three years, but with all the travel I do and the manner of handling by the airlines, I find Myself in need of a new set. I have updated My Amazon wishlist for anyone who would like to indulge Me.

I returned home in time to conduct a sissy Spring cleaning at The Conservatory - a clean dungeon makes for a happy Mistress.
The next evening, there was a bondage party featuring the talented Lew Rubens. He performed three dynamic suspensions using different materials - rope, cling/packing wrap, and nylon packing cord. All beautifully intricate and artistically amazing.

If you are in the Portland Metro area, Lew is having an art show on Thursday, July 1st at Gallery Sesso, downtown. There will be 3D bondage art to admire and Lew will be doing some suspensions, as well. I'll be there. Should be quite entertaining. Not to mention - Lew is such a sweetheart.

Last weekend Portland celebrated its annual gay Pride - Daddy, lil sis and lil sis girlfriend came to town. I hosted a debaucherous Womens play party on Saturday evening including a dildo demonstration and raffle. Attended the parade on Sunday and volunteered a few hours at the Portland Leather Alliance booth. And Sunday evening I spun fire for a large crowd at Deacon X Fetish Night.

Although My guests all left on Monday, I am just now getting caught back up to speed. It was an exhausting few weeks. But I am not complaining.

The weather this week in Portland has been gorgeous. Thank Goddess the rain finally stopped. Yesterday I worked for a few hours in the yard and garden. And this morning, I enjoyed a long bike ride.

Off to learn about the safe handling of Sulfuric Acid followed by a stern caning. *evil grin*
